Across Worlds 

Sometimes I think about the person I'm meant to meet.

The one whose soul feels familiar, even though I've never seen their face (yet).

There's this deep feeling inside of me,

That maybe they are across the world, under a different sky, looking at the same moon I do.

One night, I sat and stared at the sky,

Wondering, "How can I ever meet you when you're so far away?"

That question become the center of piece.

The moon is the distance between us.

The koi fish represents our souls, moving through the world, living our lives, never touching, but always feeling that quiet pull.

Maybe we're just waiting for the right moment...

When our paths, somehow, finally cross.
