The Ocean Room

This painting was inspired by diving videos I often watch on TikTok, where the viewer is given a glimpse into another world that feels quiet. I was drawn to the way these moments were captured.

Rather than placing myself inside the scene, I chose to view it through a window.

The window represents my role as the observer, experiencing the underwater world from a distance.

It creates separation between myself and the moment, emphasizing the feeling of curiosity, and admiration.

This piece reflects the act of witnessing something beautiful, finding connection through observation, while appreciating the stillness and mystery of life beneath the surface.
